Who regulates your service?
As a founding member of Safe agent, 1ClickMove helped to establish our industry standards. As well as offering indemnity insurance, and we are a part of The Property Ombudsman body that settles disputes between Consumers and Property Agencies.
How long does it take to rent out a property?
We usually rent out a property within 3 weeks, sometimes sooner and 75% of our tenants stay in a property longer than a year.
How is rent collected?
Rent is usually automatically deducted from the tenant's bank account by Standing Order or collected by 1ClickMove in the form of cheque or cash. This depends on the service you choose.
How do you vet the tenants?
1ClickMove Property Management requires details of potential tenants' employers and previous or current landlords. We use an independent credit agency to carry out financial checks.
What are the payment terms?
At the point of agreement, your tenants pay one month's rent in advance, and a dilapidations deposit to the sum of 1 month rent. This deposit will be refundable upon contract termination, provided (a) the terms of the tenancy have been adhered to, (b) there is no damage to the property, and (c) it is left in a clean and satisfactory state.
Who holds the deposit?
You will hold the tenancy deposit. However, landlords MUST protect any deposit taken, under the Tenancy Deposit Scheme
Do you let properties to students?
This is entirely up to you. Many of our landlords choose to let to students.
What are your fees?
Please contact us for details of our arrangement and ongoing fees. Our sliding scale means that the longer you let your property through 1 Click Move, the less you pay.
